Clifford has a good heart, but whenever he tries to do good deeds for others, they always seem to backfire. After many failed attempts, Clifford gives up and goes home. But on the way back, he manages to save two children from a burning house, and then put out the fire. Finally, Clifford is a hero! NARRATOR BIO: Stephanie D’Abruzzo is best known for her Tony nominated performance in the Broadway Musical Avenue Q, for which she also received a Theatre World Award, a special Outer Critics Circle Ensemble Award, and a Drama Desk nomination. She grew up in McMurray, PA where she used to read Clifford books in Mr. Snyder’s library at Elm Grove Elementary School. She now resides in New York City

Clifford, the Big Red Dog, a loveable character in author Norman Bridwell’s large collection of books (Recently featured in PBS’s children’s shows). Clifford’s Good Deeds is about the title character Clifford, his owner Emily Elizabeth, and a neighbor boy named Tim. The three together decide to do “Good Deeds” for their fellow neighbors. Unfortunately these deeds end up in funny mishaps til the very end when a critical problem was solved by none other than Clifford when he assisted in putting out a housefire. This is a great book for younger readers, (ages 6-8) and if read to children of Toddler/Preschool age.
